KFAS-KIKS Fellow

  • Eligibility
    • Korean studies researcher who is invited as a participant to the KFAS (Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies) International Scholar Exchange Fellowship Program
  • Benefits
    • Under the fellowship program agreement between KFAS and Kyujanggak,
    • The KFAS supports program funding for;

    • The Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies will provide;
    • Administrative support
    • Desk space
    • Housing arrangements at on-campus faculty residence (BK International House)
    • ※ Family Relation Certificate is needed in case you live with family members.
    • ※ Family members only include your spouse, daughter and son.
  • Position / Term of Appointment
    • The KFAS-Kyujanggak Fellow will be appointed as a "Visiting Researcher" of SNU Kyujanggak
    • Term of appointment is usually 6 months or 1 year
  • Activities
    • The Kyujanggak Fellows will be asked to participate fully in the academic community of SNU and their research findings will be encouraged to be submitted for possible publication in the Kyujanggak's academic journals: the Seoul Journal of Korean Studies, Hanguk Munhwa and Kyujanggak.
    • Submission of a research report to ICKS at the end of the research period.
  • Selection Procedure
    • The KFAS and Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies are jointly responsible for the selection process
    • The KFAS selects the Fellowship Laureates for KFAS (Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies) International Scholar Exchange Fellowship Program
    • The Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies selects the final participants to the KFAS-Kyujanggak Fellowship Program

    • 旅券 寫本 (copy of the passport)
